Phantom Racing was setup through an overwhelming desire to involve people actively in motor racing. Not just at track days but to go further: to become a racing driver. We're here to help you access motorsport involvement at the top level, which is where the term Access Motorsport comes from. We can think of nothing more thrilling than to see someone achieve a goal that might otherwise have remained unrealised and, at the same time, to become a member of our racing fraternity.

The sounds, the involvement and the excitement of racing are worlds apart from the daily commute, the work and an occasional visit to Pret a Manger.

I have been lucky to have driven a number of racing cars, including F1s with up to 2200 horsepower per tonne. The thrill of drifting through a corner at colossal speed merely inches away from the competition is only paralleled by standing on the top step of the podium. It makes you feel like Neil Armstrong.

All this may sound unachievable - but it's not. The only thing you need
to drive a Phantom car is the drive within you. We can keep you pointing in the right direction but you will need the desire to see it through ‘til you're done.

Most of us don't have enough money to buy a Porsche 917 or a Ferrari 330P4. But you don't actually need it: we re-create the original cars in look and feel to give you the full experience of driving one of these iconic beauties. And if you need it, we'll garage and maintain your car to keep it top condition for your events.

So, in short, if you have the interest and the motivation to start the ball rolling then we'll look after the hard stuff for you.

Once you have decided you want to join us we'll take you to our events, from track and trailer days, to road rallies and race days. Through these events, you'll not only meet us and hear about our passion for motorsport but also meet others with similar interests and ambitions from many different spheres. These events are sociable and relaxed affairs, albeit with a hint of competitiveness on the track.

Above all, we're here for everybody to have some fun and excitement in motorsport. It's not really that hard to achieve - just take advantage of our experience and you'll soon be thrilled by the look, the sounds and the feeling of your own race car, proud of what you own and the skills you have developed.

There are people who like motor racing because of the glamour, some like the travel and others the adventure. Some love to bring their family along while others like to leave their other lives behind. For us here at Phantom, it's all about the cars and driving them like they were designed to be driven. It's what we like to do and I'm inviting you to join our club - just don't think about it for too long because the only thing that none of us have enough of is time.
