We know you will fall in love with the P4 and that can’t be helped. But you may find the Ferrari better as a lover than as a spouse. If you really want to have one car for a long and fruitful relationship then perhaps you should use your head rather than your heart.

This is the only racing car that is everything at all events – at Le Mans rallies, in sprint races, endurance events, and across deserts of sand and ice. Of course, we’re talking about the 911 and for us, there is one that stands out from the plethora of Porsches and here it is, the RSR Turbo.

Resembling a 1970s F1 car with a 911 shell perched on top, the RSR Turbo is like a Royal Marine with muscles bulging everywhere you look. Like all good Marines it will run and run with ruthless efficiency until there is no-one left to race and all the fighting is done. Then you can put it away and, should you decide to put a spanner on it before your next outing, it will be through choice not necessity. Furthermore, the parts that are used on this car are all Porsche and we can build it to FIA specification so that you can race at FIA historic events.

Our car has over 550bhp and on most tracks will show a Lola T70 a clean pair of heels - there aren’t many cars that can do that. It runs a single turbo so power delivery is aggressive, unsophisticated and, frankly, shocking. If you would prefer we will make you a twin turbo car, but you might consider it a shame to change your halberd for a fencing sword. Besides, the boost is adjustable from the cockpit so it’s entirely possible to turn down the wick a little.
